About Lorrie Robinson

Lorraine Robinson is a native of Clearwater, a graduate of Clearwater High School and St. Petersburg Junior College. In 1976, she received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida State University. She continued her education at the University of Florida School of Law where she received the degree of Juris Doctor in 1979. Her friends call her "Lorrie."

Lorrie joined Perenich, Carroll, Perenich, Avril, Caulfield & Noyes, P.A. in 1998 as an associate bringing more than twenty years experience to the firm. She currently focuses her practice in all areas of personal injury law. The Florida Bar recognizes her as a Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney, a distinction held by a very small percentage of Florida attorneys.

During her law school years, Lorrie worked as a clerk for the State Attorney's office in Clearwater. Following that experience, she served an internship with the Public Defender in West Palm Beach. After graduation Lorrie continued with the West Palm Beach Public Defender, trying hundreds of cases ranging from charges of minor misdemeanors to capital murder. During her last three years with the Public Defender, she served as the Chief of the Felony Division, supervising approximately 25 felony attorneys.

After ten years, Lorrie decided to leave the Public Defenders office and venture into civil trial practice. She spent three years with a firm in West Palm Beach practicing personal injury and commercial litigation. In 1992, Lorrie returned to the Tampa Bay Area and practiced for six years with a firm in Tampa where she participated in a number of complex cases in personal injury and commercial litigation.

Lorrie is a member of the Clearwater Bar Association, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Pinellas Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, where she served as President for the 2001-2002 year. She is also an active member of Good Samaritan Episcopal Church and in other community activities such as the SPCA and Rotary.
